Question:

Where do u think trees get there nutrients they need to grow

Answers

Hi there!

Trees get their nutrients from the soil via the roots, as well as, getting the needed fuel from photosynthesis via the leaves. The soil contains many different minerals and it also contains nitrogen. The roots of a tree also absorb water.

1. True (Rhizomes are a type of underground stem)

2.C)Meiosis

3.C) The nutrition it provided livestock

4.C) Opportunities for improved crops or new medication will be lost

5.A) It protects the tree from harmful insects

6.True

7.A) Deductive reasoning

8.True

9.B) It's an important science in general

10.D) Fibrous roots are very effective in getting nutrients from the soil to the plant.

11.False

12.False

13.A) Why it happened

14.A) 6

15.D) Acquiring water and water-born nutrients

6. Deductive reasoning does not need to consider variables

-False

10. Plants with fibrous roots are better for the environment for the environment than those with taproots for all of the following reasons EXCEPT

-Fibrous roots need more water than taproots.

14. How many nutrients do plants need to thrive

-16

Explanation:

I just took the test. Everything else was correct.

Form hypothesis: Where do you think trees get the nutrients they need to grow?

I think the trees get the nutrients from the soil and sunlight

Predict: Based on your hypothesis, how will the tree population change if ALL other organisms (deer, bears, and mushrooms) are removed from the forest?

I think they will increase dramatically because there is nothing affecting them badly.

Analyze: Remove ALL organisms except trees. Click Advance year a few times and select the DATA tab. Was your prediction correct? Explain what you found.

Yes my hypothesis was correct without the other organisms affecting the trees growth the tree population increased.

Draw conclusions: Substances that contain carbon and are produced by living things are called organic. Examples of organic materials are sugar, blood, protein, and fat. Other materials, like water, carbon dioxide, oxygen, and ammonia, are called inorganic. Some living things, called producers, can produce the organic materials they need (like food) from inorganic matter. All other organisms are consumers; they consume organic matter since they cannot make it themselves.

Do your results show you that trees are producers or consumers? Explain.

Trees are producers because they make it by using the sun's light.

Analyze: Click the FOREST tab. Click the plus (+) button for mushrooms several times. Click Advance year a few times. Select the DATA tab. How did adding mushrooms affect trees?

adding the mushrooms didn’t affect the trees.

Extend: The mushrooms thrived without hurting trees. How could this happen? Try for two possible explanations. Write your ideas in the space below.

The mushrooms are decomposers; they thrive off of dead things including the trees so they  do not harm the trees at all.

Explanation:

Photosynthesis a process used by plants and other organisms to convert light energy into chemical energy that, through cellular respiration, can later be released to fuel the organism's metabolic activities

they need sun water and CO2

Explanation:

they get it from the environment. They create food for themselves from sunlight through the amazing process called photosysthesis. Although all green plants make their food by photosynthesis, they also need to get nutrients from the soil. These dissolve in water and are taken up by the roots of the plant. Soil is a major source of nutrients needed by plants for growth

Explanation:

From the dirt. They get it through their roots.

From the soil, the Earth, the Sun, the rain.

Plants absorb nutrients and water through their roots, also photosynthesis — the process by which plants create theirfuel — occurs in the leaves.

The answer is the sun and water
