The question didn't say what should be done after creating the hypothetical scenario of a disciplinary problem in the workplace.
I will herefore give examples of disciplinary problems in a work environment:
1. Poor Attendance
This is a situation whereby employees or workers skip work days. Where they are supposed to be at work 5 days in a week but instead go for 3 or 4 days, is a big challenge to pay attention to.
2. Lateness
This occurs when workers arrive after the stipulated time that they should be at work. This means that they delay the company's day job and backlogs pile up.
3. Low performance
This is the situation whereby employees do not meet the required quantity or quality of work to be done.
4. Carelessness
This is another problem that would require discipline at a place of work. Loss of items and important files could cost the firm greatly. A little item lost could imply a big contract lost.
5. Insubordination
This is the refusal of some members of staff to obey laid out rules and regulations by their superiors or by the company's staff policy. Insubordination will prevent the smooth flow of work because when junior oppose the instructions of their superiors, work is paused and may eventually never be done.
The first generation has two families fighting about cookies at the bake sale. Both sides are too proud to admit that they both brought the same type of cookies. Pettiness ensues. Family A has the dog do his business on Family B's yard. Family B puts their trash in front of family A's sidewalk. Thing like this continue until the young children of both families catch on that the other family is lesser than and worse than their family. As the children grow up, the adults continue more flamboyant ways to attacking each other’s family. Family B doesn't invite Family A's kid to Family B's birthday party, making the child feel excluded. Family A then hosts a Christmas party inviting the entire school that both children go to and make a show about how Family B wasn't invited. As the two children get older, the animosity that has surrounded their upbringing between two families has made them both part of different friend groups, different classes, and different sets of ideals. The teachers know about the fighting between the families, the whole neighborhood does. The school tries their hardest to break them up and not have them in similar classes until one day the only option is to put them both in a debate class together. Tensions are raised when a topic both families constantly argue about is raised to be a debate prompt. Both family's children are on opposite sides of the pro con teams and when the debate starts, they increasingly get louder and shout instead of debate. The teacher no longer has control of the class and kids are picking sides. Both kids come home yelling about the other and the fathers get involved. Both dads meet each other out on the sidewalk and what was a conversation was now a fist fight in the middle of the cul-de-sac street where everyone can see. both Families fathers blame the other for starting it, refusing to take blame.
