Technology is really important to the coverage of the sport in media. Not that it does only allow all of these forms of media to be possible, but it also allow photo finishes that features instant replay, split time.Media bring the sport to the people who may not normally got the experience to play the sport. And also the inspiration the athletes give to their fans.

A sportsperson is portrayed differently by the media. They good image of the sports person encourages more sponsors and affection from the people. However, display of the negative image and personal information hampers the image of the sports person. Too much interference by the media causes anger in the sportsperson and may lead to lash out in media and subsequently damage of their image as well as career. 

In the media they portray sport personalities such as footballers as a negative way and only showing this way, this can influence people who are fans of the players or the team and follow them in their foot steps which can lead to others acting to other people in this, negative way.

•Bias - Usually, only the popular sports get all of the attention, which doesn't help other people into the less popular sports.

•Less Attendance - For games that are often shown on tv, ticket sales drop.

•Attention - Professional sports players often complain of too much attention being pad to their private lives.

•Demands - The media can put lots of pressure on the organizers on sporting events to make TV viewing even better.
