Person-centred values are the guiding principles that help to put the interests of the individual receiving care or support at the centre of everything we do. Examples include individuality, independence, privacy, partnership, choice, dignity, respect and rights.

It is important to work in a way that embeds a person centred values because it shows people that you have a good moral standard and lifestyle. People are naturally drawn to and attracted to a person with a centred values because they are committed to everything they do.
