Discuss two problems that led to rome's decline

Two reasons Rome fell:

- Invasions by Barbarian tribes
- Military overspending

1. Because of its constant expansion, Rome had a constant influx of slave labor- and then it had labour deficit when it stop bringing in as many slaves (when the conquests stopped).
2. The territory was too big and a lot of resources were needed to defend it

both of these factors led to problems in the economy, which contributed to its decline

Rise of Christianity and then they were invaded by "Barbarian" forces from the outside

The two MAIN reasons that Rome fell was:

Rome was an Empire,meaning it had a vast amount of land as "Roman", as Rome could not provide security to their people, they were open to attacks from their enemies.

The second reason, is that, Rome, was corrupt. You had politicians who were self-centered, they didn't care for anyone or anything, who only cared about themselves. This made Rome weak, there were traitors everywhere in the Senate.

So, you have a weak government system, and once foreigners started attacking Rome, well, the Empire fell.
