212.75 Mg were used in total, so that means that

 287.25 Mg are left
or, it may be 1712.25 Mg are left
 

123+62.5+25.25

a-210.75 is the quanitty used

b-289.25 is left

You would do 125 mg + 62.5 mg + 25.25 mg
= 212.75
I am not an expert at math but I am 85% sure that is correct
and the quantity of the leftover original medication...
500 mg - 212.75 = 287.25
